Statutory Audit
Statutory audit is one of S. Thavendran & Co’s core business activities. It is a statutory requirement under the Malaysian Companies Act, 1965 that a Company incorporated in Malaysia has to prepare its financial statements in accordance with applicable approved accounting standards and has to be audited in accordance with approved standards on auditing in Malaysia.

Audit fees charged are guided by standard scale rates set by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. These rates are based on the Company’s turnover and complexity of the work involved.
